James Place has been providing care to children of the Amesbury community since 1994. We have an experienced, educated staff who are dedicated to the mission of this program. The staff are CORI'ed (Criminal Records Investigation) and are certified in First Aid and CPR training. Most of our staff members have been with the program for seven years or more.
We have a Board of Directors who oversees the quality of the program and meets monthly to check in and proceed with ongoing business, policies and improvement projects. On our board, we have individuals who are parents of children attending our program, the program administrators, and members of the community.
No family will be denied acceptance into James Place, as “The Licensee shall not discriminate providing service to children and their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or marital status.”
