The primary goal of James Place is to serve the children and families of the Amesbury community by providing and maintaining a quality program filled with creativity, activity, and nurturing for school age children, in other words “a neighborhood without streets”.  We are open Monday through Friday, providing before and after school care for children in kindergarten through age 13.  We are open for full days of care when school is not in session, including vacations, snow days, and summer.

James Place is an out-of-school program where the parents and staff work together to create a safe, nurturing, and dynamic environment for children.  Our program reflects the belief that children are creative and energetic explorers of their world.  We are deeply committed to providing the best care for children and support to our families' individual needs by providing information and services to families, other care providers, businesses and the community at large.
